Exciting news!! From April 2006 Murray Grainger will be joining The Music Room to organise the accordion department and introduce our all new teaching facility, masterclasses and product demonstrations. We will be offering accordion lessons for piano and continental chromatic accordions.

Murray Grainger is recognised as one of the most influential young accordionists in Britain today. Trained as a classical accordionist at the Royal Academy of Music, Murray has established himself as a multi-disciplined musician and as a well-reputed teacher. Murray is fluent in piano accordion, continental chromatic accordion and free bass keyboards.

Murray has a wealth of experience having performed with such groups as LinnTilla with Steafan Hannigan to the BBC Symphony Orchestra and his teaching experience includes the Sage Gateshead Folk Degree to Chetham’s School of Music. Now a word from the man himself!
